so my injen intake is finally arriving... last questions...
2moro to be exact, actually arrived today but no one was home when ups guy came.
so after readin up on the site i think i should be able to do the install myself(if not w/a friend), check, no problem there.
prolly gonna go CAI form, since i asked around hydro lock is rare even when it's pouring crazy.
main thing concerns me now after i'm done installin and attaching back the battery after ecu reset.
some people say their tC's are kinda shakey up to 3k rpms in gears 1 n 2 or somethign to that degree?
and that sometimes the CEL comes on while others have no problem...
what should i really expect for the first few times driving it after the install? cuz i gotta drive like 30 miles everyday front and back to work. and don't wanna be surprised and panic, lol.

Here's an oddity that i ran into when i installed and uninstalled my injen CAI. After i installed it and went to crank, it cranked over, then died. Then i went to crank it again and it cranked right up. Then recently when i uninstalled it it did the same thing when i put the stock airbox back on. Cranked over and died. Then cranked right up just fine. Maybe the difference in plumbing freaked the MAF. I dunno if that happened to anyone else. Anywho def let it idle for a few minutes. Crank it up, and DO NOT TOUCH THE GAS! At least for a few minutes. I know it'll be hard but you don't want a CEL do ya? Do that and you should be CEL free. Just remember to reattach the crankcase ventilation hose to the intake. (Alot of people throw bank 1 lean condition codes with the CAI because they forget to do this.)
The install is simple and straight forward. The hardest thing about the install is running the angled cold air extention. Here's a tip. Jack the front of the car up on the driver's side, remove the wheel and completely remove the plastic inner fender well. Pie after that. You have to relocate a ground too. Just make sure you sand the surface you ground to because everything under there is painted, blah. Oh and lastly make sure the filter is torqued down good on the pipe. The filter for some reason is slick. When i did the initial install, after i reattached the bumper and everything i heard a thudd! WTF was that!?!? The filter slid off the pipe! Had to take the darn bumper off again! So when you install the filter, work it around a little and make sure it won't come off.
Hope everything goes well.

i got mine yesterday and too about an hour by myself really easy to do only really hard part that i found was that i did not take the bumper off so it wsa hard to get the extra pipe in but once tha was in it was clear saling form there but ya let it sit mine died fright of the strt and then turned over again and idled
so in the instructions it says remove the battery, now i've read on forums that u just disconnect the battery, but is removing that heavy pos necessary?
just making sure of everything b4 friday.

will have better pics 2moro, it was getting dark and it was starting to rain, will prolly have vid clips up too, once the rain lets up.
so far so good, can't really notice it being any louder, maybe jsut a tad bit when i hit 3k rpms, but i hadn't driven on highway yet. my injen exhaust still kinda drowns it out.
but i did notice the initial gas step that the intake makes a slight 1 second or less whistle sound kinda like in gt4, when one of the bigger cars change gears, cept very faint and not as loud.
