i got stuck in traffic for the longest time. anyone else got stuck today?

Thats what happens when a cop gets shot on the freeway.
Yeah, I got stuck in that ____ tonight. Took me 2 hours to get from Dublin to SF......

 

Yeah, I got caught with it. Just got home 15 min. ago.

 

I just read what happened, a Hayward officer was shot in the torso by someone he pulled over with 3 other officers. The suspect shot the officer and when the officer went down the other officers shot the suspect. All this happened on the freeway and was shut down both ways. The officer that was shot is ok, but the suspect was killed. Its in todays Mercury News in the local section.

 

Jeez... that's what happened...

I was driving southbound at around 8:30 PM (southbound was open) and noticed Northbound being shut down completely with traffic everywhere...

SO.. what was that guy thinking shooting an officer when he is surrounded by police cars???

 

It was stressful just watching the traffic from my work...

 

Yeah thats what I was thinking too. What got me was that the suspect shot the officer where the bullet proof vest wasn't. Thats some scarry stuff, I have a couple of friends with the hayward PD too. Called him up to see if he was there.

 

would have been more stressful if the shoot out was seen from your work...that would be insane lol
