Default vibrating sound???

This just started to happen, I have about 1700 miles on my tC. When I hit the gas and start rolling I hear some kind of vibrating sound from underneath the car. It only happens when I hit the gas from a stop and I never hear it again until I stop and start going again. It doesn't even happen all the time, and it's driving me nuts. It's not loud but it bugs me. Anyone else experiencing this problem??
I looked under the car today and there's nothing out of the ordinary. The only thing I can think of is that maybe the exhaust or the exhaust cover is vibrating when I start moving from a stop.

yes it might be the exhaust heat shield. or the one on the catalytic converters (we have two). when it's cold tap on it and see if it's rattling. or a nice dealer could do that too

Have you modified the car in any way?

If it happens every time you start off, then it should be easy to demonstrate the issue to the dealer. Just take it in, let them figure out what it is and have them fix it for no charge under warranty.

yea i'd say the heat shields..... but just take it to the dealer and have them find out what it is no reason u should have to do the work if u've only had it for that low of miles

my resonators in my midpipe rattle like crazy against the heat shields... I need to take the shields off, but alas i'm lazy. It is rather annoying though.

dealer will fix it under warranty considering the car is stock, but if anyone else feels like being adventurous, the heat shields are only held on by a couple of 10mm bolts.
