Default Speaker/Sound problem.

Recently I've noticed a change in my sound. It's gotten lower. Earlier when I was driving I had to bring up the volume to 40-50 to actually consider this as loud. Is this normal? I can only remember a few times where I brought my volume to max. But don't excessively bring it up to the 50's. Did I ruin my sound system? If I did am I able to bring it to the dealership and tell them that it just happened and I have no idea how it happened?

maybe your ears just adjusted to the volume level?

also it depends on what you were listening to. some cd's play louder than others... or ipod songs.

i dunno... just throwing out ideas.

you could always change your SSP setting to xA... that tends to increase the volume

I set mine for xA and ssp Hear. Sounds much better. That's the one thing the dealer told me that was helpful...

have you tried other regular audio cd's? Sometimes the audio level some albums are recorded at are not very high, resulting in you raising the volume a lot!

Also, are these mp3's? or just regular audio cd's? the srt on for mp3's can increase volume. The automatic sound levels during driving can also raise the volume more than if it was off.
