Default Which amp should I buy for my Kicker 12" Comp Subs?

I recently purchased these...

http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Kicke...oductDetail.do

I am going to be building a sealed box and I need to buy an amp. I read in another forum that Profile amps are great amps, especially for the price.

They specifically mentioned millionbuy.com...

http://www.millionbuy.com/caudio-amp-prf.html

Which one is good for these speakers? I have no idea which goes with which, but... I have an idea of how to wire them.

If there are any great "value" amps, please let me know! I am not bent on purchasing Profile amps, but again, I am not pouring money into this set up.

Isn't that too weak? Also, wouldn't I need 2 of those to power a pair of subs?

I was really looking at the

http://www.millionbuy.com/caudio-amp-prf.html

for subs, I just don't know which ones will work for mine. I do not want to underpower them.

actually this amp is perfect for either 1 or 2 of those subs. because the subs are at a 4 ohm load and are 150watts rms. the amp at 4 ohms is 150 watts. if you have 2 of them you can wire it down to 2 ohms and at that point the amp is good for 300 watts. this amp was pretty much built for either 1 or 2 of these subs ^_^

Coming from someone who installs kicker stuff on a daily/weekly basis:

Go with the Kicker 300.1 Amp. It is all you need and will be rated a little higher on the birth certificate.

But the price is a little expensive...

Does it really beat the Profile amps that much? I'd rather spend the $100 vs $200.

But like you said, will this Kicker amp be easy to wire or is there special needs for it since it is a mono channel.

There is nothing special about wiring; with any sub/amp combo.

When it comes to Car Audio, you pay cheap, you get cheap. Kicker is a quality product that has been proven in USACi competitions.

You won't find that kind of info on a Profile.

That and all Kicker amps have a two year replacement policy and a 1 year over the counter replacement policy at all Circuit Citys.

As far as wiring:

Thanks, I was looking into the 300.1ZX amp...

"150 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (300 watts x 1 at 2 ohms)>"

Is this good?

well the subs that you got are 150watts rms at 4 ohms, if you have 2 of them then you can wire them down to 2 ohms, which would be 300 watts! like i said, this amp was built for these subs!

I'd get the Kicker kit, or a Metra Kit. I had these guys come in the other day with their own wiring kit that he had gotten off ebay. It was supposed to be 8 gauge, but when held up to my metra stuff, you could clearly see it was like 12 gauge. not wiring size difference, but how much wire was actually under the plastic. Kicker stuff should be reputable.

Yeah, I purchased the ZX300.1 a few days ago and the Kicker Amp kit.

The whole set up is going to cost more than I had expected, but it should be worth it.
