why do american auto makers brag about such minor statistics?
pontiac, more interior room than an xb!
ford edge, engine is quieter than the lexus rx 350!
wow, i'm going to totally sell my imports and go buy american because they are bigger and quieter! thats whats been wrong with american automakers all along, i'm glad to see they finially get it. all that stuff about better mpg, reliability, faster, better handling, nicer fit and finish, styling don't matter when compared to stuff like bigger interior and quieter engines.
i also find those toyota tundra commercials to rather dull and unimpressive too. i mean come on, ford has mike rowe! look at him talk about boxed frames and big leaf springs. or a tailgate with a handle and step to help you climb into the bed. those toyota commercials where they do actual demonstrations are totally weak.

did they really compare the pontiac vibe, aka toyota matrix, aka toyota corolla to the scion xb? wow...those are some genious marketing going on there...
also, the next scion xb will be bigger, so that probably won't be true for long.
