question about transmission drain and fill plugs
#6
an update, and a couple of notes
the drain and fill plugs are both 24mm, and make sure you use a very shallow socket or you will not be able to fit a ratchet on the drain plug.
when you open the drain plug, be prepared for a rush of gear oil. it comes out with a lot of force and flies into the control arm and splashes everywhere.
i filled up with a pump and the fill hole on the side of the tranny to avoid removing the reverse sensor. overall, it was a really easy job.

You'll need 4 quarts of fluid when filling the transmission. Are you Auto or Manual?....Reason I ask is because I just changed my Auto trans fluid and I had to use a 10mm hex head to unscrew the drain plug....I'm sure its a lot different on a manual. Like the previous post stated, be ready for oil to gush out as soon as turn the drain oil! Also I had to go to the dealer and pick up the WS type transmission fluid because that's what my 07 tC used.
