Default AVIC D3 owners! or anyone.

When you installed the head unit. Did you ever spliced anything with the brake line so it would play movies while driving?

I thought it was just a pin removed from the harness... The little connector things?

My ebrake light just started turning on when I accel hard. Anything?

just take the mute wire and the brake wire and splice it to the huge grounding wire U that is on the harness. Then move the mute wire up a hole. That is what I did, You'll be good to go.

uh if you are saying you spliced into your actual ebrake wire........yea thats a no go.

very simple. 1) move mute wire 2) ground mute wire 3) ground ebrake wire FROM HARNESS. (not comin out of your car)

so in other words, all the splicing/modifying is done through the two harnesses that come with the d3 unit and plug into its back.
