tC motor swap
hopefully nobody flames me but i have an 05 scion tc and im really more into the wheels and fitment scene but it has about 85,000 miles on it and i was thinking in a few years instead of just running my engine down i could swap it with maybe a supra engine or a is300 motor... anybody know what motors would fit and if anyone has ever done it??

noones done that swap, you obviously dont know much about cars if you think the supra or IS300 motor will work with the tc. this isnt a civic that you can just swap and voila.
only been one swap with pics and thats the guy recently with the v6 motor.
if you were hoping noone would flame you then you clearly knew what you were going to ask was retarded..

Being that the tC is FWD and the 2JZ is for RWD, it won't just bolt up. I'm pretty sure your only option would be to convert your car to RWD because the I6 is too long to transversely mount into the tC.

Money can make anything happen, however with the limited space available for a drivetrain making the tC work with such motors would cost a LOT of money. To even get a "supra engine" to work would involve making the vehicle RWD.
Simply put, no, it won't work. And just because your car has 85K on it by no means says the car is anywhere close to worn out.
