Default 2010 XB headlights? & HID Issue

Hi all, new to the forum. I have a 2010 XB, I just installed a HID conversion kit (McCulloch 5Ks) and I’m trying to figure out how to reduce some of the glare (Squirrel Finder). I’ve searched/read through a lot of past posts and found some good info on this issue but the headlights on the 2010s have changed because I don’t see the squirrel finder flap when looking through the bulb hole. Although, I see a defined pattern above the cut-off line when I have the lights on, I don’t see where this pattern is coming from??? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
JP

I have somewhat the same issue kinda not really. I mean it doesnt bother me on my car since I do not really pay attention to signs nor squirrels lol but I wondered if this could be adjusted a lil bit down. I don't know crap about hid but I just installed some 8K on my box and they look great. no complain yet.

The only way to get to the "squirrel finders" to either grind them down or remove them completely is to bake open the headlights and get at them from the backside of the projectors.
