Instagram Account of the Week #1: scionmona
Meet scionmona and her Scion tC show car, Shadow.
Welcome to ScionLife’s Instagram Account of the Week! In this weekly segment we will be highlighting an Instagram account that catches our eyes. The goal is to help load up your Instagram feed with sweet Scion, Toyota and Lexus content!
Kicking things off is scionmona. Mona’s account is obviously filled with pictures of her Scion, a modified tC that she calls Shadow. With a name like Shadow, it’s unsurprising that her ride is black, and has a dark, sinister theme.
To that end, Mona’s tC is lowered over a set of blood red STR 514 wheels. The hood similarly features a red ghosted imprint, to contrast the black-as-night paint job. From there reflective tint is used on the headlights and tail lights to give that vibrant sky effect. A Megan Racing rear wing rounds things off out back.
It’s not all show, and no go, either: this tC features a full header-back exhaust, also from Megan.
However, it’s the interior that we are most impressed with. Red seats, red harnesses, and red suede-trimmed interior bits add a lot of visual flair to this tC. Some people pop their hoods at car shows, but scionmona pops open her doors.
