Everybody wants a Rocket Bunny kit for their cars, but no one wants to put in the work.

Except, of course, for our Instagram Account of the Week, ratchetbunnytc. This Instagram account, run by vehicle owner Victor Gomez showcases what modifying your car is all about. Sure, an off the shelf widebody solution would be great, by Gomez didn’t have that choice. So, in an effort to get that aggressive wheel fitment seen above, he had a custom molded Rocket Bunny kit made for his car.

How? Well, as Gomez explains above, he took a kit made for the Scion FR-S, or GT86, and modified it to fit. Thanks to some help from the body shop, the end result is pretty well executed for a one-off. Of course, completing the aesthetic are a set of WatercooledIND (WCI) MD1 wheels, which are polished and feature gold fasteners. Oh yeah, and they have massive dish. Gomez isn’t giving away his wheel specs, but seeing as how he is really stretching out those 255/35R18 Toyo tires, we’re willing to guess they sit somewhere in the 18×11 range with likely a zero, or even negative offset.

What’s new with the ratchetbunnytc? Well, how about that color, for starters. This car used to be white. Since Gomez clearly didn’t fear cutting up his car for the widebody kit, it comes as no surprise that a change in color is an easy decision for him. Yup, that’s no wrap, he had a full respray done on the car. We also dig the GT86-inspired headlight modification he’s done, it really brings the tC into the modern era.

That’s it for this week’s Instagram Account of the Week. If you want to see your vehicle featured, shoot us an email with your Instagram handle so we can check out your ride!
