Instagram Account of the Week #3: Scionroadtrip
Instagram Account of the Week winner wants to see those Scions out on the open road.
The Instagram account Scionroadtrip has a simple, and pure premise: go out and drive. The account organizes events and acts as a content aggregator for cool Scions. In between events, Scionroadtrip can be found featuring followers rides and posting up humorous Scion-related memes.
What kind of Scions are on the page? Well, everything from stock daily drivers to highly modified show and track cars. Oh, and we also spot a few previous ScionLife Instagram Account of the Week winners on there, as well. While we do appreciate the meme posts, there are a few common rides on the page that are too cool to not shout out. For example, there is a severely rusted tC on the page that has gone full rat rod. It’s a good look for modern Japanese steel.
Currently, the page seems to post pictures in massive bursts. We counted 13 images on August 22nd, 2016, alone. That said, the page has taken a quiet turn as of late. The last post was on May 26, 2017. However, the group organized another meet on January 1st, 2018, so we expect images to be flooding in from that get-together any day now.
