Flashback: Scion at SEMA 2011
SEMA has a way of bringing out the crazy in every company—and Scion doesn’t really need all that  much encouragement to begin with. So as you can imagine, there were some pretty crazy concepts in Vegas last year. My favorite was probably the iQ-MR by Tatsu. There weren’t any performance specs listed, but with the gutted interior, full cage and single racing seat, it it looked like it would be blast at the track. My favorite part? It was converted to rear wheel drive and the engine was moved to the back. Pretty badass, right?

The craziest was definitely the Numeric xB, which was styled like an ’80s Body Glove  wetsuit. The pockets even worked! There was also Cartel’s Pit Boss—which lost its top and gained some tire storage—Jon Sibal’s metallic gray Scion iQ RX and a relatively staid tC from Dynamic. Check out all the pictures below, and stay tuned for our coverage from the 2012 show!
