Lets be real. The FR-S has no real competitors in it’s price range besides the Miata. That’s not going change any time soon. While the FR-S has been reviewed to death by now, the Miata is a mostly a known quantity. Where the FR-S is the perfect driver’s car for newbies, the Miata is “the […] More »
Look, I love the Scion xB as much as the next guy, but I don’t think it makes the best getaway car. It’s great for hauling your groceries and band equipment around town, but I think I’d want a car that hauls ass. Not stuff. The lady behind the wheel of this xB doesn’t seem […] More »
Let’s not beat around the bush: the Scion iQ is weird. Don’t take that as a bad thing; it isn’t. Scion’s pudgy micro car is surprisingly comfortable, handles like a fwd go-kart and looks pretty good on some aftermarket 16 wheels. The reason it’s weird is in part because you’d have to consider buying 16″ rims […] More »

Scion may not build one with a turbo (yet), but this is one of the first reviews that I’ve seen of a turbo charged FR-S anywhere. The car is this case is a track oriented thing that’s still in development, but it’s still pretty important. The thing is, the FR-S is slow. Really, the only […] More »
There are a number of reasons that your wife/girlfriend/significant other might get mad at you for doing something without them. Kissing people comes to mind as the most egregious, but buying a car comes in close second. Even worse? That car is sports car like the FR-S. Nothing screams “practical” and “sensible” like Toyota’s little coupe.
