Toyota Yaris WRC Gets Rowdy at Rallye Deutschland!

We love fiesty, little micro hatches, and the Yaris WRC is one of the best.

It’s amazing what Toyota can do when you let their motorsports division loose. Thanks to team at Toyota Gazoo Racing (GRMN), hot hatchbacks like the Yaris GRMN exist. Unfortunately, they don’t exist in the United States, at least, not yet.

But that’s a road car, this Yaris WRC is not. Also prepared by Toyota Gazoo Racing, the Yaris WRC is an extreme example of what the platform is capable of. A frenetic, turbocharged four-cylinder engine, with anti-lag powers this wacky Yaris. An aggressive wheel, tire and brake package helps it slow down (at least, a little) and corner with the best of them. The extreme widebody kit and aerodynamic package are just the icing on the cake.

Watch this mad little Toyota tear up the pavement at Rallye Deutschland 2017, and enjoy the sights and sounds.
