As to the RSX-S, sweet car,seriously, but i guessi am an old school guy, and i am a torque addict. The RSX has very little torque....lots of high RPM HP, but little low end punch. Some like it that way...but i prefer a kick butt 0-60 car myself...different strokes for different folks....but hey, after all i am a:

Okok, you've swayed me to belive the Crossfire would be a better daily driver, as for performance, I still belive the Evo wins in that category. Overall, I wouldn't buy an SRT6 just based on the fact that it's built buy Chrysler and I dont trust them. I'd rather get any equivelent Lexus, Nissan, Infiniti etc. Point is Chrysler didn't accomplish anything meraculous in my opinion, all of the features you listed can be multiplied 2 or 3 times on any other similar car in it's class. Also, I the people at Top Gear who hav driven both the Evo and the Crossfire (done episodes on both, found on YouTube) would strongly disagree with the people at Car and Driver. It's basically down to opinion here and my personal opinion is Chrysler/Ford/GM=POS in comparison to their import counterparts...

Oh, and BTW, the Crossfire isn't built by Chrysler, it is built in Germany By Kharmann, on a Mercedes Chassis and drivetrain.
Well, acually, I did some research on the SRT6 before I made my 1st debate post, I just did a little bit more as the debate progressed. And like I said, as far as quality goes I'm not much of a fan of MB either.

Oh, Iyzmi, i didn't think that YOU thought MB had anything to do with GM. That was a different poster who said that.
No European car can claim to have steller reliability. In fact, in recent JD Powers reports, domestics have surpassed many Euro brands in reliabilty standings. But reliability, while important, is only one aspect of the total automotive ownership experience.

i am getting a 2007 GTI in about a month..and i would recommend u do the same!! Great for everyday driving with tons of power and torque (200hp and 207 torque at 1800rpm!!) On top of that you get great gas mileage (25/32mpg). plus that DSG transmission is amazing!! shifts faster than a manual! I test drove one and it feels like ur actually driving a manual, but it also has the convinience of an automatic, which is great for a daily driver. best transmission ever made PERIOD!!!!!! cant wait till i get mine!! go test drive at ur local vw dealer

I would highly recomend you do not by new. My buddy just bought a new scion tC and he hates it. He bought it new, he was very young and didnt really know what he wanted and now he wants to get out of it and he is upside down and will be for quite a while because of the automatic depreciation of the car when he drove it off the lot.
If you want a sports car I would highly recommend you buy a rear wheel or All Whell Drive car, as these are the platforms best suited for performance.
The cars I would look into would be:
LS1 C5 or TA or Z28: Car have decent power stock and REALLY wake up when you begin to mod them. They are very cheap to buy and maintain. And the LS1 makes IMMENSE POWER. I have seen cam only LS1s put 440hp TO THE GROUND!!! I have also seen baby cammed LS1s with good heads put well over that to the ground.
LS1 or LS2 GTO: Same as above except IRS and more refined but that comes at a price as the car is a lil heavier.
TT 300ZX: Great Styling and powertrain. Car being T/Ced really helps wake it up with mods and heandles great.
3000GT VR4: Nice styling, built like a rock and great power and power potential. Only downfall Ive noticed is the are QUITE heavy.
RX-7: Personally one of the prettiest cars Ive seen. Quite quick with good power potential, big downfall and reason I didnt by is because of the very common catastrophic engine failures. (I.E. Apex Seals)
E36 M3: FUN FUN FUN Car. Having drivin a few lately I fell in love they may not be the fastest but I just love them. The seats are AWESOME and the car handles GREAT!
03-04 Cobra: Great Car. Its heavy but makes decent power to offset the weight plus these cars can reach over 400rwhp with not much more than a S/C pulley.
S/N 95 Bodystyle Cobra: The 4.6 32V engine is built great and loves boost. Itd be just like a older 03-04 cobra if you threw some boost at it.
The STis and EVOs are great fun cars but upkeep is quite ridiculous on the cars and the performance does not justify the price for me. Plus I dont think I could ever drive a 4 door "sports Car"

to be honest with u i was actually looking into getting a used trans am WS6 or a z28. but i hv recently driven a 350z and DAMN!!!!!!!!!! it was sick im sure and evo would maybe be more sick but wat was so coll bout the Z was wen the traction control is on its like a race car but wen its off its an instant drift car. ive also heard that the VW hv mechanical probs also that on WRXs the all wheel drive power distribution thing is all screwed up consatntly. plus premium out here is running like 3.50 a gallon and that blows so almost every performance car is out of the question but like with the mustangit runs on regular but the gas mileage. soooo i think wat i hv decieded was to get a tc and just mod the hell out of it. but if u turbo it do u hv to run it on premium then cuz if u do....i unno. also the snow, how would it drive in the snow??? also which would be better turbo or supercharge??? also ive heard things bout the roof breaking, clutch going too fast, and my mom had a 96 camry and by 80.000 miles almost every gasket was going on her 2.4 liter. or should i jus stick with an xb (get a manual though) and turbo and jus make it like a super box lol i dunno gimme some ideas to do to a tc too and i love working on cars so pulling fuses everynow and then wont suck also is ther like a super chip thing for the tc/xb?

High teens to low 20's MOG is common for city driving, while mid-high 20's for highway. I got 28 with mine cruising at 60 on the highway, and 21 commuting. Of course, when i ran it harder it would drop to 17-18 or so. Still not bad for a 300+ HP V8.
