we'll see. Scion had it's time. it's just another car company now.

Scion!! get back to the JDM roots. it's the only way you'll get your fans excited

They will needs more than the fans to survive. Toyota needs to up the ante on standard options and make the interior of these cars not look so cheap. With the redesigned Aveo, Fiesta, Mazda 2, and GMC Granite coming down the pipe Toyota is about to get some stiff competition.

the interiors of the Scions are fine. it's the design, it's the conservatism that Toyota has created for itself. designed themselves into boredom

It would be nice if Toyota would make interiors for the Scions that has a shine friendly surface instead of that dull rough surfaced plastic.

So the paper texture is the only feature we need to concern ourselves with when it comes to the interior? Besides you could make the interior of a Prius out of feces while being glued together with vomit and people would still buy the car...it is aimed at a completely different type of consumer. When Scion entered the game they were the only company on the market with their kind of vehicles and almost had a monopoly, now some of their models are looking average at best. The sad part is that all Toyota has to do is what you said earlier and that is dig into the JDM parts bin. Raise sticker price by $250 and add in standard HID's, auto dimming mirror and blue glass side mirrors...doing just that would really help with sales of the xD IMO.

i was just sayin about the dash...i really could care less about the gas mileage. you want high mileage? buy a hybrid. Scion doesn't need to raise the price of the car to include HID or smart key. it's included with the japanese cars for a very close price.
