Default 92 4Runner?

Saw one for sale for $2500 that has 158,224 miles. I just need something that can tow my tC to shows and gets decent enough gas mileage that it won't kill me to be a daily driver, but will survive a midwest winter.

Yay/nay?

i would get it. just check to make sure that it is in good condition, and doesn't have any major mechanical hang ups.

i'd get it, pending a personal inspection.

Needs a new radiator. Also, I wasn't in love with the back seat height. :\

you plan on spending alot of time in the back seat?

if this 4runners a rock'in, don't come a knock'in?

like you said, if your looking for a vehicle to tow your tc (btw, what is it rated to tow? your tc is about 3000 pounds stock, add in whatever you've done to it, and the weight of the trailer, it might be out of it's league.

but if the rest of it is fine, and it just needs a radiator, that isn't a bad deal at all.

Well now I'm going back and forth between "do I want to spend this $2500 on things for the tC, or a vehicle that will tow it?"

While I could do a lot with $2500 to a tC, I have a dog that enjoys car rides, I frequently put about 50 or 60 miles on my car a day, and the environment and my BSP car don't mix.

Don't forget the cost of at least liability insurance. Plowing into the side of a BWM can put you in debt to the owner for years. Worse if they're hurt.

If you want it as a tow vehicle, try to get a 4Runner with the 3.0 V6
