Engine Immobilizer Help
****Anyone out there know a lot about about vehicle Computers / Immobilizer systems****
I Dropped a 2001 4.3L Chevrolet engine into my 1980 Trans Am, and am having trouble trying to bypass the immobilizer to get it to fire up. A friend suggested that there is an American company that can produce a chip capable of emitting the same frequency of the immobilizer but does not remember the name.
Swapping out the ignition is out of the question, and a power commander still wont create the bypass thats cutting off the EFI.
Anyone know what I can do, or point me in the right direction bypass this problem?
Any help at all would be appreciated!
