Thanks for the videos, however man, logic doesn't apply to this board, or many others. It's te simple fact of their line of thinking

American/European=Shoddy peice of crap.

Japanese=Made of god and win.

Edit: Import fans excuse for the prefering of the GTI over Type R:

"They've been payed off, or they're on acid!"

i have drive the mk5 gti with the DSG...wow, would almost make me switch over from a 6spd...though the 6spd is probably the nicest gear box i have ever drive this side of $75,000
