This is freakin nutz. This Z06 has a 427 C5R bottom end with twin turbos... dynoed at 1450 RWHP and apparently blew a tire on the dyno... I bet they have a hell of a time getting this thing to hook.

 

All that--and it is Solar Yellow!!! LOL

Actually I bet its not that fast cause its an ever live'n btch to keep the tires from break'n loose.

 

anything with a stock body and that much HP would be a sleeper in my book.

I can see that, but for me a "sleeper" is a normal looking vehicle that you wouldn't expect to be fast. I would assume any C5/C6 Vette to be relatively fast.

Everyone expects an Evo to be relatively quick, but a Galant VR-4 is a sleeper.

 

Old News,

Ive followed the build on Tech for quite a while and if they turn the car down to the lowest boot etting it still makes 900 hp, apparenty the owner also owns a 1000 or close to hp c5 Z06.

And FWD sucks

But seriously, that's just WAY too much power for a street vehicle, I hope he keeps that on the drag; I wouldn't trust it on the track even!

 

think they'd let me take it out for a spin?
