there is no 2009 toyota celica...if anything, it would be the tc. toyota is doing very good with the tc, and has a better reputation than the celica (being "overpriced" and underpowered), and will get more sales just for slapping a "tc" badge on it. if anything, it would be a 2009 tc

The tC does not have a better reputation than the Celica. The all-trac turbo is one of the most best performing cars of it's time and was made legendary in rally races. If Toyota revived it, would compete nicely with other turbo awd cars.

Well maybe if they take the tC away and bring back the Celica I guess ^_^..that might probably mean "if" they take the tC and bring back the Celica then they could bring in the xR (rally) some low costing rwd 4d.

I've heard Toyota stop production on the Celica and MR2 because the last generations weren't selling that much. I remembered coming across an article about Toyota planning on discontinuing those models and starting a completely new brand and new models. And the solution was to replace them with the tC. Did anyone hear of the same thing or is it just me?

If it's coming back, the all-trac and intercooled turbo version that was available in 1991 should come with it too.
