Cool S2000, Slow build thread (update 9/14/11)

Hey guys! Haven't been posting much on this forum for a while, but every now and then i come back and snoop around

Heres a picture of my old tc
Name: tc.jpg
Views: 23
Size: 41.2 KB

I sold my Tc a while ago and still miss it every once in a while. It was my first car so i definitely had a personal connection with it haha. I learned a lot from SL and want to thank everyone who helped me in the past.

Back in April i bought a new (used) car and i'm loving every minute of it. So far ive only modded it little. I've purchased an exhaust, Countersunk Shift ****, Window tint, Clear headlight diffusers and a few other small things. In another month or so i should be picking up some new KW v3 coilovers and a few other secret items

I will be eventually purchasing a supercharger, but that isn't for another year or so.

I plan on keeping this thread updated so i'll add a few cellphone pictures for now. Hope you enjoy pretty much stock pictures of a s2k haha Sorry about the quality, Enjoy!

When i first picked her up!

Update* (9/14/11)

Decided to go ahead and do all of the body work that it needed. The previous owner was in a small fender bender and the body work that was done to the car was horrible. So i went ahead and had them repaint the entire car, take every dent out and go ahead and shave off the license plate holes and Front emblem holes. I should be getting the car back by Saturday or next Monday.

Very nice! Almost picked one up before I got my WRX but carmax wanted way to much a month for a car that was priced at $22k.

Have fun! and never ever post pics with the top up! lol that is a sin!

congrats, I also made a switch from my 07 tc to a 05 s2k only mods are: KWv3, Berk Test Pipe, Fujita CAI, and 3m Clear Bra. I Miss the tc, but still in the scion family with my 05 xb as a daily.

Oh awesome, didn't know there were so many differences between the two lol. I just knew about the 2.2l motor in the ap2 and the different wheels and gauge cluster

I had an 03 AP1. Loved it. Insurance was a killer though and thus the reason it was sold. Instead of the KW3's you should look at the Megan Racing coil overs. I had them on mine with 10.5's out back and those coil overs were amazing! Best part of all is you can get them for anywhere between $600-700. I also had a 4.57 ring/pinion out back on it and that made it feel nasty!
