Which of these cars would you buy?
I am looking to buy somewhat of a luxury car. I am looking for reliability #1 then comfort and then speed. Please vote and if you have any feedback feel free to post up. I don't really know benz all that much but the only reason the slk is on the board because its a hard-top convertible.(and its a benz)
I am mainly looking at Acura, BMW, Infinit, Mercedes, Lemme know....thanks

just remember, German name equals twice as much to fix up or repair. TSX over TL cuz the TL is put together about as good as an Accord. And I'm not impressed with either of those cars. Dash panels always broke on those cars when I'd take them apart for alarm work. TSX never did. G-35's? well, pain in the a$$ to do a radio. $500 for the dash kit from Japan. Why not the RX-8? $20k car I'd almost suggest the Benz C230 Hatch over the SLK. I base my car buying on how the cars come apart in case you didn't know

I voted for the acura TL. I myself am looking at getting a luxary car later on this year. Ive test driven both the TL and the G35, which are both my top choices. I still havent fully decided what I want, but I do like that the new G has a little bit more pep to it. Although I dont really need the speed since I'll be keeping my tC.

Among those listed... TSX! Love the high-revving four with a light(er)weight body. Doesn't have the torquesteer or the sticker of the TL, but retains the beautiful body. The Honda Accord for the rest of the world gets my vote.
I would go with the IS250 with the 6-sp manual. With more torque and two more cyl, this would win over the TSX anyday! Keep in mind, the TSX/TL are FWD, the IS is RWD, 100% better, although you do live in NJ, where FWD is better for winter.

I do like the look and interior of the Lexus' and have been looking at the IS350. But the price on it was a bit high for what I want to spend. the 250 is pretty nice but I didnt like it as much as the TL.

Of the cars on your list I would defintely go with the BMW coupe, that thing looks amazing...and BMW pays for all maintenance during the warranty period. That includes everything from oil changes to brake pads and wiper blades.

I would have voted the Infiniti G35x if it didn't cost around $40k if you wanted sat nav.
You can also look into the Subaru Legacy 3.0R which is coming to North America later this year. There is also the 2.5 Spec B which as of last year has the 6 speed from the STI.
At least you can use those two models as a bargaining chip while nagotiating the price of the others listed in the poll.

the acura tl is supposed to be the nicest car under 50k.
but it's not the rear wheel drive sports sedan the others are, if that's what you want(i live in rainy seattle, so no way no how would i drive a rear wheeler everyday).
