Default Who would switch to an FT86?

This car looks awesome and its supposed to be RWD. How many Scion owners would make the jump over to this if the price range was mid $20k?

X2^. It looks bad @ss, will drive bad @ss, and its a Toyota with a Subu engine. cant go wrong I would say. Plus when you put an exhaust on...it will sound great! I would order one the second you can. Probably keep my tC tho. Wouldnt trade it in on it. would love to have both.

2 liter, non turbo, RWD box of fail.

I'd have to see what the subaru marker has going, but it will cost too much to make go fast. just my .02

I would like to get one and keep the tc, but we'll see how the motor performs.. a 2.0 should be factory turbo though imo

Yes, only good thing it has going for it is that is going to be reliable, becuse its a toyota, and it has the boxer engine. This is supposed to be a performance car. It doesnt have much performance for the money. I bought the tC because it was cheap and looked good. If I was to spend over 20k on a new it would not be this. I would actually get a genesis because you know the prices are going to be comparable.

None of what I say applies to the subabru version though.

I would trade my tC in for the Subaru version in a heartbeat. I like the AWD.

Sadly, I feel the subaru version doesn't carry that same heritage and feel as the AE86. An AWD turbo system will not be cheap and it will be heavy. AND it will surely be priced around what an STI costs now (30-35k).

I'm used to driving AWD cars so thats probably be one of the main selling point for me. Well you can't really compare the "feel" of a RWD system with a AWD system.
