Very good points, I agree with them. I don't know how I feel on the issue, it's so iconic to have the driver's helmet in plain view as many fans distinguish drivers from another by helmet design. It seems that an enclosed cockpit would take away a lot from the sport.

The more I think about it though, the less I like it as a fan of the sport. May be different from a driver's perspective though.
