Aug. 16th-17th, REDLINE TIME ATTACK, summit point WV
Ah, found this thread again.
Are you all competing in the actual time attack? Anyone doing the HPDE? I have been on the Main and Jefferson circuits at Summit. But I am still a little nervous getting on Shenandoah since I have never driven it, and I have heard how technical it is.
Also, how is the attitude of everyone out on the track. So far in my HPDE's everyone is very courteous out there with point-by's, and they keep things very safe, etc. Are point-by's required during the practices and timed events? Are we out on the track with people in our class? Sorry for all the questions guys, but I'm new to the R.T.A. format.

Ok, I was gonna say...I didn't sign up for anything
. I should be there though, most likely on Sunday.
So go ahead and throw another Jon on the list. I'm actually looking up hotels in the area, I think I'm gonna drive down Sat morning, stay over night and watch both days. I'm kinda realizing driving 5 hours down then having to drive 5 hours back isn't sounding like I'll have a lot of time to do much lol.

WOOOOO!!!
After 5 days of ordering helmets and finding out they were out of stock, I decided to head down to a Ford/Suzuki dealer where I bought my Z400 from. They said they moved all the ATV/Motorcycle stuff up the highway, so I go and I found an assortment of $3-600. Then I found the lone HJC CL-15 in large just sitting there. I almost shat myself. :D It's the cheapest DOT-218/Snell M2005 approved helmet I could get my hands on, lol.
