Thanks, I actually talked to him at the auto show. I'm going to try and make it to the event next Satrday. I'm completely stock so everyone can have a baseline of what their mods did for lap times

some ppl will tell ya it wont harm the car. any racing will effect ur car. i am sure i replace brakes and tires alot faster than most scion drivers. and three wheeling prolly has some effect on the body and suspension. but i'll tell i have not had one problem w/ my car yet and i have 55k miles on it. i prolly just jinxed myself

if it is an option, i'd pick up a mk2 golf/gti, a crx, or miata...i run my xB which is also my daily driver cause its my only option.

for all n00bs, u can go faster than u think u can and come as close to cones as possible. if u hit them it may make a small mark on ur car and add time, but u will learn where ur car is. after a few events u will start to learn how to drive

and as stated above "smooth=fast". u will learn this as time goes on young grasshopper.

ppl say i look like i am goin slow which i am but also very smooth and my times were always extremely close the mg that ran HS. when we both ran it seemed to be him 3rd and me 4th and it really did not matter what showed up. although last event a prelude classed himself as HS and should have been DS, but it was a non-points event so i guess no1 really cared which put me in 5th out of 8 instead of 4th out of 7, IIRC and i dont finish dead last and usually about 75% in PAX
