Hey guys i finally went to the track for the first time of my life. Of course i brought my 06 tC. No way was i gonna watch. Oh yeah i brought my friend with his 99 cougar that has seen 13.99. My first run of my life i red lighted. Cougar went next and ran a 14.5. Second run up, i stage perfectly, dunp at about 4 and get one wheel spinning (need lsd), i spin out first and try and hit second, i miss it multilple times lol. i finally get it in second and bog it haha. I ran a 17.8.hahahahaha

So then my friend in his cougar goes. he launchs a little bit more than last time, gets alot of wheel hop and boom! blown diff. yeah it sucked.

I wanted one more run in so i staged in and just eased into the clutch. no dump at all. i ran a 16.167 at 84 with a 2.443 60'. i dont think its too bad for first time.

Im excited to go home this weekend though cuz here is my list of parts to put in.... torque damper, header, full exhaust, and some spray...yeah thats right either a 55 or 75 shot. I havent decided. ill be back with updates!

 

good job and good luck you should be able to pull of low 15's STOCK w/ a lii more practice... once u get it down. Never dump the clutch on our fwd cars... its completely useless. Do ur best to feather it.
