My dad and I watch it together every race. I remember the year before last, there was a race on his birthday in Indiana, and I was going to get him tickets, but at the last minute ran out of money. Glad I didn't though, because that was on June 19, 2005. Anyone remember that race? Where there was the whole ordeal with the Michlin tires? And the race started with 20 cars, and 14 of them bailed after the warm up lap so they could protest? Ya, that was the race I was going to pay for! Lucky me, I didn't!

quite a messy fiasco.
Thats why random killing of idiots should be allowed, so when Darwinism skips a few, the rest of us can kick in for a bit...sort of a failsafe.
I had someone throw a cup of ice at my box, as a funny haha joke at 80 mph on the 405... I get it now.... Ice box...yeah real funny at 80 in the dark. @$$hole

Just finished watching the Melbourne GP (I had to work on Sunday, thanks DVR
). Way to go Kimi!!
I'm not a huge Ferarri fan, but like I said before, Raikonnen is the man. As for Coulthard... what the hell man?!?!? I wouldn't even say optomistic, just plain stupid.

During the post-race interview when asked about his little spin out towards the end of the GP, Raikkonen replied;
"I don't know what happened. I think I was looking at something else..."

Awesome. I bet He was thinking about where the party was going to be.

Bridgestone is trying a new way of marking the tire's compound in the opening day of testing at Sepang.

Great. The little white do the sidewall was a silly idea.

I didn't think about that.
"...and you can tell by the white stripe that he's running the soft compound tire."
"True. It does look like he's on the softer tire because you can see markings."
"I just said that."
"I know, but you can see that it's the soft compound tire."
"Because of the markings?"
"Yes, the stripe you see in the groove."
ect...

No more traction control in F1 after this season.
http://www.formula1.com/news/5857.html
I wonder how this will affect things... I mean, I know these guys are extremely talented drivers but have they gotten used to the safety net provided by traction control?
Outlawed in the 1990s, traction control was legalized for the 2001 season when it was felt that sophisticated electronics had made policing the ban impractical. From next season, however, standardized ECUs should make enforcement far easier.
