We were supposed to go to StL the last weekend of this month & I wanted to autocross there. But there are no races & it lookks like we m ight not make the trip anyway if I get a new nephew before that.

I've never seen a course with one that long.

 

That was at HPT and we were running the SCCA Solo Nationals course from last year.

When exactly were you coming down? We're running at Gateway on the 24th, and depending on how far away you are, the KC National Tour is the 30th/31st. You have no idea how badly I wish more Scion's would come out to our events.

 

mrexotica where do you find all the dates for the events?

im in IL too and plan on starting to autoX next year.

What kinda tires do you have?

 

Just summer tires, that's why they are so loud in the video.

Falken FK452 in 225/45/17 on a 17"x8" rim.

 

Yeah I could tell, what kinda tires were you on at Summit when we were on track together?

And they were so much better

 

NEdragway earlier last year. racing another silver tC. i was stock running 15.8's all day and he had a turbo pushing i believe 8psi on slicks running low 14's all day

im on the right btw

 

^^14's on 8lbs...boy need to learn to drive. Unless he really was on street tires. Judging by the pic, they aren't slicks. MAYBE drag radials.

the guy has been to a few scion events that ive gone to this year so i see him around
i believe he has the greddy kit and is tuned with emanage
he kept blaming his clutch for the low times lol

Oh THAT video....lol. I remember seeing that one. Yeah, I can believe him that his clutch was having it's dying days if that's how he beat on his car regularly. Stock clutch perhaps..

 

at least he did better then the other 2 turboed tC's running that day. both which were running low 15's there was also a supercharged one running high 15's lol

 

WTF? If they are scared of breaking something, then they shouldn't be racing. That's sad.
