went out for a "free" track day today at PPiR. I just helped fill cracks in the mornng, and in exchange they let us loose on the track. It was my first track event, so I didnt expect to be fast, but I ended up being the quickest out of everybody there, I ended up overtaking a spec miata, modified e46 m3, m z3 and m "shoe." I was really surprised, as they all had been doing this for years too. At the end of the day, they all came over and couldnt beleive how quick it was ha ha. Turbo FTW!! here are some pics, and ill try and get some videos posted up too.

I also found out that both the tires and brakes would lose their magic after about 6 hard laps, and i also managed to boil the power steering fluid as it decorated my engine bay very nicely. Other than that, I was surprised how well the car held together.

I added a 2008+ Viper to my Overtake list. And that's without my turbo. I was running R-comps though.

thanks man, i found another pic of me right after I passed the m roadster.
I also finally uploaded an in car video i took late in the day when my tires and brakes were hot and fading and another passenger to through off my awesome corner balancing made for an interesting first lap back out. the spec miata takes me in the end cause I also was low on gas and could not pull out of the corners cause of fuel starvation. Im still waiting to load the videos form the hero cam too.

yeah dude that sucks you had to work, too bad they dont plan these ahead of time, cause there are for sure going to be more in the future, but i have the feeling they will be last minute type things too. gotta use those sick days!! lol

Absolutely love it! Excellent shots Rhythm, yours is the black one with the CF fenders and wing, right? Looking good. 
I wish I could get some more tCs to come out to my track and race with me. I'd love to see how the competition goes with cars of the same platform. Your shots make it looks like a Scion invasion of the track!
