It runs faster than low 14s, trust me. with the stock B16 with a short ram intake, and a gutted to the bones car, it was running mid/low 14's at LACR in Palmdale, which relates to mid/high 13's at sea level.
and I know for a fact I can beat Mustang GTs, along with Dodge SRT-4s, Evolutions, and STi's. a stock Mustang GT is cake-walk, honestly. They dont stand a chance. But also, my car wasnt made for drag racing, as I live by willow springs, and its primarily a road race car.

I don't have a scion tC anymore smart one. Look at my profile. I sold it about a month ago and bought a brand new Black 6MT Nissan 350Z. And you said exactly what I asked you to say, to tell the mustang guys you have a little honda that will kick their mustangs butts. LOL. Unless you did some major suspension and drivetrain mods, that little hatch couldn't handle the power that you would need to run the numbers you claim. You don't list any engine damper, LSD, or flywheel, clutch, or anything... That is an economy car right there, more so than the tC. atleast rhythmsmoke has vids to back up his claim. For all I care your throwing out wild numbers about an insanely hyped up honda, that would cost more than it's worth to get it to run those numbers. Plus those things sound like shiz when they go by. I'll give it to the mustang guys, those stangs do sound beautiful, and the only import that sounds close to that deep throating sound is the Z or G35. Too bad you live in Cali. You should drive over to Dallas so I can rape your little hatch and then stop by rhythmsmoke so he can blow you off the road. Go buy an S2000 so you don't look like a highschool kid in riced out civic hatch. Atleast then you'd have RWD.

if you're talking about me, who the hell ever said I wanted a highway racer? I think racing on public roads is effing retarded. my civic is a road race car...as in a closed track with bends and curves instead of a straight line. and about driving a riced out civic, its 100% bone stock on the outside so how the hell is it riced out? its not even a street car. it never sees street use. purely track use, hence why I bought the xB as a daily driver.

Stock for stock from a dig no chance for the Tc, only hope is to catch an auto on a roll, because stock the downshift is crappy and we have no top end.
You guys severly overestimate your cars and underestimate the v6 Mustang. It's not even worth talking GT, because unless you're turbo'd a Tc isn't beating a v8 straight up.

What are the times on the m/t 05 V6's? 500lbs is a lot of weight.

The V6 stang is pretty dissapointing to say the least. I know people that own them that say the same.. they just could not afford the GT. They will beat a tC, but it is still closer to a drivers race.
But all in all.. the p!$$ing contests are stupid. A GT will stomp a stock tC hands down. I personally am not a huge ford fan (have worked on way too many of them) and prefer a chevy small block when it comes to building for performance. But they are still nice cars either way. And the point is that too many 4 banger kids have this built in hate for the V8.. and want to think that they are nothing compared to the 4 bangers out there.. which is untrue. A RWD V8 will hand you your @$$ if built properly every time. A 300 HP, FWD boosted 4 cyl has no chance against the same power NA in a RWD V8 if the weight is comparable. They have more tq a flatter power curve and rwd to boot.
On the other hand.. you can make one hell of a quick car out of a tC if you want to, and there are plenty of them out there beating the V8's. But both sides need to shut up with the d!ck measuring and just enjoy your car. I could care less what you drive, I like cars and modding cars and will have a beer and chat with anyone what likes the same. I will most likely build my 4 banger up some, and will still end up with a small block powered something in the driveway next to it. All this 4cyl vs V8 vs import vs domestic crap needs to stay back in high school with the kids that dont know anything about cars anyway and spend thier time reading "Import Tuner" while watching the F&F.

If I had to say any 4 banger sounded like a muscle car, I would have to say that about the SRT-4.
