Default The Race I forgot to post about

240SX w/ SR20 running 7lbs of boost.

Yeah, so me and my fiances younger brother were on our way down to the local hotspot where all the rest of the racers and ricers hang out. As we are cruising on the interstate, a guy that I have met before is coming up on us. I was one lane over from the fast lane, and he was in the fast lane. He has a two-tone Black on top/Red on the bottom 240sx with an SR20 in it. His car use to look rather decent, but it seems he let it go down hill a little. Anyhow, as he approaches us, he slows his speed down as he passes.

He slowed down enough now to where he was cruising at the same speed as us, but at a car length in front. Then he slows down even more to where I'm passing him back up (Now mind you, are tC is pretty well known among the locals, because it stands out and is the only one turbo charged at this moment, but I will be having back up in a couple of days... ).

Back to the story, so he slows his speed even more, and now his front bumper is about to the rear of the tC's door. Then he gives it enough gas to make the SR20's BOV shutter at me....

Immediately I was like.....NO HE DIDN'T JUST BLOW OFF AT ME! as I chuckled a little. So, I blip the tC's gas and BLOW right back at him. He flips on his Dome light so we could see him (Due to being really dark and no interstate lights), and him and his passenger was rolling and excited to see it was me. So, I rolled the window down and we cohersed a race. 3 honk drop. tC instantly puts 2 cars then 3 cars and I shut it down. We run it one more time, and same thing.

We get to the "The Bridge" (what we call the local hotspot), and I meet up with him, and chit chat and laugh it up a little. And then he mentions that he couldn't tell it was me or not because it was so dark. He was looking for the all Carbon Fiber front end, but the darkness hid it all....

There fixed it for you. Oh and I'd fully expect all of my sponsors (full product sponsorships, not discounted parts) to pull sponsorship if i was ever caught or bragged about street racing. You and that guy both sound like you have nice legitimate setups, not bolt on OMGZ l00k what is dids typical crap that pollutes the board . But damn take it to the track, get some hard times and 60ft times. Personnally I don't know why someone would sponsor a car that isn't getting exposure at the track showing what it can do.

Man, I love the haters...

I guess 10sec Supra, 10 sec Civic, 11 sec Civic, Twin turbo 350Z's, a few Skylines (R32 GTS, and one R33 GTR), RB swapped 240's, 700hp Vettes, along with 300whp on down to 230whp tC's, a bunch of ricers....then I guess you must live in High society where everyone drives Lambo's and GT2's. Yet you stroll in with your xB and show them all up though right.....

One more Hater to add to the list, I guess I must be doing something right.

actually i used to roll up in the 1st gen elise when in that set, it is honda powered though...until one of them made me an offer i couldn't resist on it. The STi with litchfleid goodies isn't impressive enough for them as it is now though.

btw it's not the cars that make a scene rice, it's being above taking them to a track, anyone of those guys can say they have a 10sec car, everybody does, but without a timeslip it's notta. just like over on nasioc everybody has a high 11 sec WRX/STi but all there slips say 12.3-12.6, they just haven't gotten the "perfect" run yet. If you haven't run it and you don't have the proof in the form of an on track video or a timeslip then you haven't done it yet. peroid.

I'll make you a little deal, your sponsors might be interested in as i'll have a hand tied behind my back on this one. I can gain access to the jefferson circuit at summit point on a weekday with advance notice. I'll challengeyou driving your turbo TC around it in my xb with just suspension to a 1 hot lap time attack rolling start time trial. We'll each have 2 laps to put up our best time. I'm giving you 6+ seconds just on the back stretch alone.
If i win though you give up every sponsor you have, oh and I want the sponsors there, I have a feeling they'll be looking for a new driver with a crowded garage to pick up. Oh and the event will be recorded on viedo for posterity and it will likely be on a television show pilot as well, so dress pretty.

Chad with the 10sec Civic is pushing 540whp and I forget the tQ. There is another Civic driven by an associate (asian guy) everyone calls TigerBall he has a GReddy powered on about 10lbs. There is another 400hp Civic.

And lets not forget Brian (Jester), who is the Head of The Nashville Scikotics chapter (I'm Vice Head). His tC will be coming out of ZPI's shop real soon, sporting a GT BB turbo, Built Stage 2 motor, Stage 2 Head, and about 500whp to go along with that.

But I forgot....We are all Ricers though, so none of that matters....

**edit** Milan (Asian guy), I couldn't think of his name till just now. But he has a Civic hatch with I think around 350-400whp. I think he is the one that ran high 11's.

DUDE! Just go back to the hole you crawled out of trying to deface me or something. I'm not some 18 yr old tennie bopper with a boosted tC. I wouldn't say they were 10 sec, 11sec, 12sec cars if they didn't have time slips to back it up....

Go troll somewhere else now. God I hate Internet people that come on here think they know everything, and then want to post up BS like they have 50yrs of race experience. Run along now kiddo...

You have little room to talk. Where are your vids? What have you raced on the track or otherwise. By the way, I've been on the track... And as soon as I drop this new tranny in, I'm going back.

I got a better idea for you. Come to the Scion Shootout in that xB of yours. I didn't build our tC for road course, but I'm not scared to put it there. I have a 350Z for road course/Time attack/Drift.

I've said it before and I will say it again:
Should have taken it the track. Street racing is stupid and dangerous.

I haven't built the xb for anything, it's certainly no drag car ha. Not even the sti is that, the only bits on it are for increaseed turn in and to reduce lag. Search summit point in this forum and you'll see i'm not a troll. It is funny that you with your drag queen (ha) are backing down from any sort of challenge from a lowly xb though...

i guess when you tucked them between your legs to be a drag queen you lost the ability to use them, it's ok though soon you're be a full tranny from what you're saying, i hope that operation goes well for you

This dude is funny. He put his xB on some suspension and think he can take on a 300hp tC with suspension around a road course...

You going to pay for my entry as well as my track fee just to challenge me? Which one you want, the 300hp tC or the Stock 350z. You can have your pick, as long as you pay for my fee and travel accomidations.

The Z is down in need of a New clutch and flywheel, so if you want that, you have to wait a few months for me to get that put in. I drift it, and the stock clutch doesn't hold up. Time to upgrade. I don't buy new stuff unless I break something else.

Also, post a link to a vid of you rollin on the road course in your xB and passing a few well deserved cars before I am going to waiste my time coming to race you. You got to crawl before you can walk bro....

Thanks Captin Obvious.
Then why did you partake in such an act? Are you calling yourself stupid and dangerous?

i've only tracking the xb sort of as a joke once, I have some raw vid of it, but with my 50 years racing experience I had the track to myself as i can get the track closed for my own use.
thus no cost to use it, I'll work witll MAria and Bill Scott to pick a date then we just show up and we'll run. you just need to sign the waiver.
If you want to see me run the sti well you're in luck, I'll be running it in the 1st national rallycross event of the year next weekend (march 31st and april 1st) at nashville motorspeedway. Thats in your backyard so if you wanna see my driving i expact you to show. I'll be #114 in PA class.

I want the TC, I'll run the Z in the STi. Oh and it's not the car i think i'm taking, i know the xb can't take a tc with equal drivers...
