Default S/C auto tC vs. newer M3

Minding my own business this morning, taking the bumpy road short cut I notice the car behind me slows to a crawl over the bumps just like me. Hence, I think to myself "must be a low car and the driver cares about it".

Turns up to be an m3.

We exit the one lane bumpy road onto a main 3 lane road of which the right most lane takes you to 495. The guy tries to over take me so that he can cut me off on the ramp to 495. Well, excuse me I think not. So S/C Aliantha kicks in. He has to get behind me. We take the ramp. I always take it at 65 because of my suspension mods. And for once a car keeps up with me. In fact, the douche was tail gating me.

Round 1: tC wins, M3 looses

So we enter 495, the italian blood in me makes the smart decisions so I weave (NOT FAST NOR DANGEROUSLY BUT IN A SMART/LOGICAL WAY) through traffic.

So now I'm nearing the ramp to take to get into 267 and in the rear view mirror I see him flooring it from a mile away. When he catches up to me (mind you I was still doing 65mph while he prob was at 80 to catch up to me because he's not italian and doesn't know where to go in traffic ) he flashes me.

The ramp to get off 495 and into 267 is a two lane. Once again I let the suspension do the work and I take it at 75mph. He barely kept up with me. I think maybe just the surprise that my lil car can take corners right.

Round 2 part 1: tC wins, M3 looses

Once we reach 495 I know he's gonna floor it so I don't even try. Also because I don't find it appropriate to go to 90/100mph on the highway at 10 am. And cops are there.

Round 2 part 2: 65k car wins against 20k car

Well, it made my day quite honestly.

Those of you who will say:
1. you are an idiot for street racing- I say pay attention to what I wrote. I never went above 75, I drove like I normally drive. And just took the ramps spirited (which I do anyway when there are no cars on the ramp).
2. you dreamt this- I say MEH! I know what Aliantha and I did and that's all that really matters.
3. you are retarded for drawing up charts - I say you are right but I'm bored!

Happy pre thanx giving day :D

sounds like amazing agressive driving. nothing wrong with going 75 at the max everyone does when they can.. not street racing at all. not in my eyes atleast

congrats on now knowing how fast you can take corners if you need to.

i saw a service attendant tooling around in a black M3 yesterday, i was so jealous. Specifically when he was power sliding out of the gas station, it was raining so he wasnt beating on it. also cool story, im sure he was quite surprised what our cars could do with a little work.

this is rediculous. i didnt read anything you wrote but i just read in the image the m3 lost so i stopped and decided to post. being automatic supercharged myself - the m3 guy was either not trying or couldnt drive. he would kill you any way you look at it.

Just because they are fast, doesn't mean the driver knows what they are doing. This can be said for any type of car and owner. My M3 has smoked a Porsche on the track but it was only because the driver was an idiot, otherwise he would have embarrased me.

that m3 would burn you anyday.
either just a ____ driver, or was just playing with you.
like you said you were weaving through traffic and taking 60 moh turns.
maybe he didnt want to risk it in his m3.
because i would feel alot safer having to go up to 80 to catch back up with you than to weave through traffic.
and at the end of the day. that guy still drives an m3 and you still drive a tC. it may have 200 horses now but its still a tC
i enjoyed the story though

I wonder if people know how to read......did I say my car was better? Because if I did, please point that out. I THINK I wrote that in turns we were about the same, him slightly behind me and that once we hit the straights I didn't even try to "race" him cos I'd EXPECT his 65k car to beat mine.

And the weaving SMARTLY through traffic has nothing to do with how pretty yr car is. Either yr good at it and can figure it out or you don't know it.

yeah, at this point in development, mag numbers may seem to have a direct correlation of what to expect in real life every time, in every situation, with every single driver....... and so on.........
