I saw that Element drift at nopi... It has a suburu engine

 

I too saw the Element at Nopi last year, but in Atlanta. Pretty impressive, but something just feels wierd watching it out there.

 

here is the thing if toyota puts out a rwd platform again it will most likely be a toyota badged vehicle. unless they work on some kind of mid engine transaxle design again. which means any reviews will be loud engine blah blah crap as goes with any mid engien review i think i've seen.

 

was it the center of gravity?

 

is it possible to get pics of it?

 

If they do, it will get out of their desired pricerange. You can't have cheap and awd, unless you're OK with driving a Neon on steroids [SRT-4st444r]

 

There is a 2nd gen xB converted to rwd, running a Titan V8 with twin turbo and I believe 700whp. It's a show car though, not a drift car.

 

its not a titan v8 its a tundra 5.7l v8 they did quite a bit of cutting to a make it work. most likely will never see track time.

 

^^Oh yeah, couldn't remember exactly. I just knew it was still a Toyota motor.

This weekend is Round 2 of Formula Drift. I will be down in Atlanta for the event.

I shall bring back some vids of the tC drift car hopefully.

 

I think one of my friends has a vid of it. Ill talk to him and see if he posts it or sends it to me.
