VIR Full Course: HPDE Weekend with NASA
Well, I finally got back on track with NASA last weekend at their Octoberfast event at VIR. I ran with a great group in HPDE-1 all weekend. All the pics of me on track were shot with a cheap point and shoot, so they aren't very good quality , but I hope you enjoy anyways!
Some of the other cars around the paddock:
And then some of me on track:
It was really funny to see me get blown by the GT-R on the front straight, so I will upload some videos within a couple of days if people are interested.

Thanks for the pics HTH! How do you guys do passing in this type of session on your track? Is it open lapping or do you have pre-set passing zones and signalled passing?
I know my last trip to the track had me with my hand out the window waving by quite a few faster cars and while it sucks getting passed it's awesome to hear the exhaust of a Porsche GT3 ripping by away from you.

No problem on the pics. Videos may have to wait until this weekend. School has me by my nuts for a couple more days.
That is exactly how we do the passing in HPDE 1 and 2 groups. In groups 3 and 4 there is passing anywhere on the track, but you still need a "point-by".
I like this system a lot, especially when you are out there with you daily-driver, it makes me a lot less nervous.
