It takes 2 to do a transaction, and if you did not do your part then Flea is not responsible. But it sounds like he is willing to be cool about this, so I would take him up on his offer.

Thieves don't respond like this. From what conversations I have had with FLEA, he has great CC and runs a fair and opportune business for himself and the Scion community.

 

Kenny is a homie and trust me he would not steal a set of tails from anyone, he was at my house this weekend and I wanted to paint somethings on my car, he had another set to do for a customer and was determined to finish them before he did mine. As far as getting lost this is very likely, as far as him stealing a set thats ridiculous. He has plenty of money and massive hookups from Toyota to even think about jacking someones tails. End of story

Flea is a good guy.... in fact he's doing some parts for me right now. He's a pretty stand up guy....his painting skills are in very high demand as he turns out awesome work. He banned himself from SL b/c he got sick of the harassment from several people on here...and flat out threats. I know Flea and I know the story behind those claims and they were NOT his fault. Basically there are some people that you just cant make happy no matter what you do. They are wired in such a way that they have to have something to complain about or they dont know what to do with themselves. You want proof Flea's not a thief?.... check out the countless threads on here where people from all over the country have posted pics on SL of the amazing work he did for them.

 

so where are my lights then? supposively he "sent them out" like in three different occassions and funny how i never received any of them. then on one occassion he gives me a tracking number, i go and type it in on ups and it doesn't exist. I tell him about and this and his response is "oh they shipped it to the wrong place". I even offered to pay him more money to send them out. I told him to send them back even if they were damaged, undone, unpainting, broken, cracked, ugly..whatever i just wanted them back. I'm even willing to pay the shipping cost, pay him even MORE labor money and give h im a praise here. Why would u guys think i'm lying? I did say he was a cool kid and had excellent work from the gecko. I just want my lights....by the wway flea, the address i gave you is a business in downtown boston, how better of an address can you get? it doesnt even have a unit number or anything it's just: 290 Washington St. in Boston, MA

As for my response to "McLarenF1"..... Of course there are always 2 sides to every story... from the overwhelming response in Flea's defense on this thread... thought maybe you could see that if you are truly having an issue, that it is a pretty isolated incident. We've all had very good service from him in the past.....and currently for me. He's given me updates as to the progress of the work he's doing for me. We're just saying that we've all had good experiences with him and that he's NOT the kind of person you're claiming he is.
One last note.... real swift to "bash" someone that is not here to defend themselves with their side. Fortunately Flea has a lot of friends that are still here to do it for him.

 

i'm not here to make friends, or to win a popularity contest. And nice for ya'll if you got good service from him. All i know is this: i sent flea my lights, i never got my lights back!!

 

Well making friends or winning a popularity contest are 2 things you definitely wont get here by bashing our friend Flea.
My suggestion to you is this... I see that you are 23.... coming from someone that is further along in life... here's some honest advice...you can take it or leave it... you can see from here that a lot of people have had great service from Flea before... Maybe you should try a different approach. Even if you are ____ed off... contact him in a polite respectful manner and say hey, something went wrong. what can we do to resolve the issue?. You'll get a lot further with that attitude (whether youre ____ed inside or not)... to getting the end result that you want. That goes for anything in life.....not just your tail lights.... just my 2 cents... you can take it or leave it...but there it is.

Yo breaux i saw a run down fresh tree, it was like completely mushy from the rain and dried up and run down and it was white and half was gone but you could still tell it was a fresh tree.
