^^ well i can't speak for everyone else.. But my experience of knowing Flea.. he was really cool when i first met him... but as time goes by he's started getting shady.. Then he made all type of sn to diss on my sale thread.. im not the only one taht knows its him.. we know hwo he quotes his words and the same style of sentences he use.. I mean... i dont' like to bash on people but it hink everyone should know about him before they say all these nice thigns about him..

 

I'm not over-reacting. This is just plain silly. It should NOT take anyone 9 MONTHS to tint 2 tail lights and send them back.

Joyride a.k.a FLEA --> I don't care how many pics you posts of him "working on it". He sent some of those 4, 7, 9 months ago too and i still don't have the lights. Why don't you post pics of the lights in my hands instead. I'm not bashing on anybody. I just want my lights that's all.

FLEA --> if you r truly working on them, i appreciate it. I just want this to be over already. And I'm not even bringing up the fact how you, Kenneth Mills, PROMISED to refund me the labor money (which I didn't even ask for) and was never refunded to me. haha But it's cool. That's the least of my worries and i can care less if you refund that or not -- I just want my lights. Maybe the lesson learned here today is to not make promises you know you can't keep.

turbo_charged -- why on earth would you think I need a new address? It's a very very simple address, a business, we get tons and tons of shipments every day. There's no way I won't know when I get them because I work pretty much every day. and you need to lay of the crack if you really think i'm gonna sit here and make a thread about lights i already received. Either that, or lay off FLEA's nuts. LOL

Okay... I am posting this for my friend Flea. And just FYI... if there was any confusion... I am NOT Flea.. lol. He is out in Cali and is also doing some parts for me. And I am in CO.
Great communication with him... so without further a due... the following is what he emailed me and asked me to post at his request.

Yes Vincent I completely agree that it is absolutely ridiculous that tinting your tail lights took this long....yet alone you have had to go through all this sh*t. This is why I hate taking out of state work. People always say "don't rush. Or take your time", sure enough it's always 5 minutes later "are you done yet?". I hate giving completion times on projects. Why? Because at any point something can go wrong. Whether it's paint not matching, paint lifting, cracking, peeling, burn through while buffing, etc. The point is that at one point I was going to refund the money, but you specifically said to me not to worry about it. Also when you initially PM'd me the first time I remember specifically saying that I don't do it for $90 (that was back when I used VHT and Duplicolor clear coat). That $90 does not even come close to covering the paint, clear coat, hardener, time masking it off, etc. Not to mention return shipping.

You and I can go back and forth all day and night long about the situation, but it's not going to help whatsoever. As I have had others post on the other pages....I got another set of tails and am almost complete on them.

You can say those are the same pictures all you want, but if you look in the background you will see a set of redded out 08 tails as well. Those are Corey's tails. We just started those last week. So no, those are NOT the same pictures that I sent you before.

Personally if it were up to me, I would send you the tail lights as they are right now and tell you to finish them. But I am not going to do that. Why? Because maybe I don't want to get another barrage of text and email messages from other members and my friends (old members) saying there is a thread entitled "FLEA didn't finish my tails".

Lastly, I have left my new and old cell #'s throughout the site as well as my e-mail address....in the event anyone has to get ahold of me. You say you have been sending me e-mails, I have received nothing at all whatsoever. Weird, considering my e-mail address is kennon7mills@googlemail.com and that's what it has been for the last year and a half; nothing in spam folder; I don't even have a spam folder.

People can say what they want about me. I used to care, now unfortunately I don't even give a damn. At the end of the day I was the one you sent your tails to, to get done. If people say they suck, by all means feel free to say I did it. If they say nice job then you can take all the credit for it. I have taken time out of my hectic schedule to post up not 1 or 2, but 4....yes, 4 DIY tutorials to contribute to this community by giving step by step directions on how to do certain projects. Why? Maybe because in the future when people want to get their stuff done, they can do it theirselves instead of sending it to a "thief" like me. What have you contributed?

Actually I wanted to thank you. Since this thread started, I have had multiple requests for tail lights to get tinted, FG badgeless garnishes and interiors. Every single one of those people, I tell them to read this thread first. Oddly enough, they reply back a couple hours later and say they still want their stuff done.

BTW, I hope you enjoy the lights. I didn't want to go that dark....but you insisted.

yea bro he stole them.. i saw it i'm a witness... i saw his own transaction and everything.. he was going to sell them for 200 each side.. cuz they are amazing tails.. and he had to just keep them since even tho.. he tinted others wayyy before that..ooo and also they smelled like chocolate too... thats when u know, u have too keep them

 

so you are saying that you Physically SEE EVERY single package and letter that goes to that business address? EVERY single day of EVERY single week of EVERY single year?
HIGHLY doubt that.. someone at your end must of snatched them. that's why you don't use business addresses for shipping unless... nope. just don't do it... have it sent to YOUR home or a P.O. box. Damn.. some people just don't know anything.

Thank you, that's exactly what I was trying to point out. Because there is so much shipping traffic, it is very likely that more mistakes are made. Why not, after the first unsuccessful try, give a different address to try?

Also, for you Mclaren saying to get off his nuts, this is exactly why I am defending him and not you. If you handled this and yourself better, then I wouldn't have said anything at all. This is the only thread I have seen you in and all you have done is calling flea a thief and calling all of us on this thread "nut-huggers" just because we support the guy and what he does/has done. You don't deserve the extra steps he has gone through to make this happen, and in the end you probably wont be happy. I know that I don't personally know the situation or what has been said back and forth, but this could have been handled in a more professional manner. If you respond to me great, I wont read it because I could care less about this drama thread anymore. I shouldn't have posted in the first place but I hate when people handle things like this.

You guys are COMPLETE morons !!!!! A-Smell and t_urbo_charged. I've never heard such ignorance in my entire life.

First of all, the business I work at it's only 5 employees. ALLLL of which are older guys and have the slightest clue about cars and careless about them. Why on earth would they steal some TYC lights.

Secondly, When UPS/FED-EX/USPS drops anything off they have to come all the way into the back room and drop the stuff off there. The backroom is STUFFED with cameras and security locks. The entrance, hallways, rooms ALL have tons of camera's too. There's no way anyone could even steal a pen there and not get caught -- not to mention two BIG boxes with lights in them. That's exactly why I only ship to my work address. Because it'll never be stolen. Why would I send it to my house? I'm always working..

Thirdly, it's funny how that's the ONLY package I've never received. I have had the following stuff shipped to my job and received succesfully: Carbon Fiber Appliques, Door Sills, TRD exhaust, Injen Intake, 5-AXIS LIP KIT!!!!! (The box for that thing looked like a coffin it was soooo big), 3 different Iphone 3GS's, a Blackberry Bold, TRD lowering springs, MObileHID's, 5-axis leather seats, 2008 OEM front headlights for tC, VRD 2 piece front grill, Bluebatmobile front eyelids and the list goes on and on...... and I NEVER EVER EVER EVER had anything stolen or missing...NEVERRRR, some of the stuff on the list is WAYYYYYYY more expensive then some TYC lights. Why on earth would anyone want to steal some TYC lights and not an iPhone 3GS per say? Doesn't make sense.

Fourthly, it's not my damn fault if the lights got lost in transit. That's FLEA's damn fault. We agreed at the beginning that what I paid him would cover labor, shipping and insurance. If it was a bad deal, he should never agreed to it. If he agreed to it, then why the f*ck not put insurance on my lights when shipping them? Kapische?


Fifthly, I'm not causing any "drama". It just sucks when you do a transaction with someone, they completely ignore all your communication with them. How else was I suppose to get his attention? Last time I heard from FLEA before I made this thread was in February 2009. WTF? and you guys need to seriously lay of his sack. You probably never even met him in person.

 

i do agree with mcclaren that since november that is a bit much, and the fact that he was ignoring calls and such was kinda shady but jus try and take it one day at a time now thats all one can do u know, it sux but kennon is a good guy and he will definatly get ur stuff back
