how did you get your fog lights installed? do you have a separate switch or do they turn with your lights?

Can you explain this a bit more please? How will a relay harness cause problems?

From what I know Relay harness is supposed to be good, not bad, adding protection since it draws power directly from the battery and not from your OEM harness.

i installed em myself.. and yup it comes with switch.. you can turn it on and off anytime you want(but with the healights on.. headlights off=fog lights off) but you can do sumthin to make it work.. theres a thread here that shows you to do it and you can have it on even if the headlights are off

i installed my HID kit with the relay and everything went smooth...

only problem is since my battery was disconnected im experiencing the window and sunroof trouble. my sunroof opens but i have to hold the button down and isnt automatic anymore and my drivers window works with no problem at all. my passenger window works from the passenger door controls but not at all from the drivers door. i tried the hold the button for a while and it will correct it trick and it hasnt worked.

i have tried disconnecting the battery and connecting it back a few times with no success. any help?

Why aren't they needed? I have a 55W HID ballast from DDM, think I should get a relay?

Really wanna know, whether they are or aren't. I've been hearing a bunch of different things... hmph
