Got my HIDs and I;m sort of in the process of installign them.

Mine didn't come with the heavy duty sticky pads like picturd. instead i got 2 mounting brackets, 2 mini pads (smalelr than whats pictures) 2 scres and soem zip ties

Now I'm just tryign to figure out how to mount these things (i suck at this stuff)

When you turn on your lowbeams, is it normal for the HIDs to flash for a second, and then power up?

will the $60 kit itself with bulbs and ballasts suffice to not damage anything?
or will i need relay harnesses.. i've heard of people burning out wires and stuff?

I run the relay just to be safe. Prior to using the relay i blew a fuse a couple times because of a bad ballast. I don't want a headache of anything shorting out. So i just spent the extra cash just to get the relay.

HIDExtra 6k HIDs - love 'em. Keep in mind that I have blue parking light LEDs, so the view of my headlights looks more blue. Look at the cutoff picture for the color of the HIDs alone.

HI,

That is normal since they are metal, that should affect the ballast performance, either way if it becomes defective and you are still within your warranty , we can exchange it for you if it dies out on you. Thanks`
