HIDXTRA HID conversion kit Review
Hi Cameron, we refunded back to the same way you paid, should take 3-5 business days. Please allow 24- 48 hrs for the tracking # to update since the postal office needs to scan it first to get the first status but it has already left our warehouse as of yesterday. Thanks~

Here is an example of our HID installed in a Halogen housing, the car is an 2000 Infiniti I30. The beam pattern is clean and does not scatter like other hid kits, and the projection area of visibility is similar just brighter so you can see better. Thanks~
P.S. beam may vary slighty upon different vehicles such as (YR make model and height, for examples for trucks or SUVs, the cutoff may be higher)

Got my 6k kit in Today! This is the first set of HIDs I've ever had.. and I'm blown away!
I hooked up the kit in about 10 minutes (excluding the relay harness~couldent figure it out)
Will buy from again!

thats just the glare coming from the lights. when you take pictures directly in front of a light source with out proper settings it tends to look like that. other than that i bought a kit from HIDextra and installed it on my friend Subaru Impreza with his stock projectors and they have a slight yellow tinit to them. usually when you put aftermarket HIDs in a stock projector housing such as the newer tC's and so fourth the HID temperature will drop about 1000K or so . pretty much if you buy a 8000K HID kit and install it on the 08+ tC's then it'll look closer to the 6000K kits if you look directly in front of the housing.
if you look at from the drivers view the color looks warmer then it should be. now if you have reflectors then pretty much the kit you buy will be the color it says it is.

Hi Michelle,
Your site states that the HID kits are 3600 lumens. Doesnt lumen output change according to bulb temperature? For example, higher temp bulb(8000K) has a lower lumen output than a lower temp bulb (5000K).
Also, does the relay kit come with instructions for install? Im kind of a dummy, but not a complete dummy, just dont want to risk frying wires during and after the install.
Thanks!

Hi,
Yes the higher the K (Kelvin) the lower the lumen output so 8000K would have a light blue tint but the light output is less so you will not see as well or as bright as a 5000K or 6000K.
And yes, our relay does come with instructions, the relay installation is the last picture on this page from this link.
