Default kenneth520 = problem resolved

My bro just bought a turbo kit from him. The seals are dead on the turbo and he can't even get it rebuild because the bolts on the turbo are stripped. The intercooler is bent to ____, and there was hardware missing. This guy is shaddy, if you have bought from him, make sure to thoroughly check your products. It a joke how he wrapped this stuff when he shipped it to me. My bro is working with paypal to try to get his money back and send this guy back his pos ____.

not very funny when your the one out of $2200 though. My bro would have just gotten the turbo fixed, but he can't because the bolts are stripped. Will have to send it to turbonetics or something i guess. If he did this he is a plain moron and if a shop did it then thats one f'ed up shop.

Either way my brothers car won't run now, and he is stuck with a crap turbo.

yea unfortunetly i don't know how bad the damage is, the bolts on the turbines are stripped so he may need to get a whole new compressor section. Unless the shop was totally shaddy Kenneth must have known about this, even if he didn't he still needs to man up and fix the situation. The kit is installed and was just tuned so its not even really worth it for my bro to take it off and send it back.

Initially his car ran ok for a week and a half, then it started smoking that bad, when we took it in to get looked at. They told us they can't do anything because the bolts are stripped.

at this point he just needs to make this right, and i don't think a rebuild will cut it, almost positive the compressor side is damaged. We are going to try to get an estimate from turbonetics tomorrow.

Talking to him, i wonder if he may have not actually known about this and the shop screwed him. But either way he needs to fix this situation, because I payed for a paper weight.

Im sure he knew, this kid claimed that he took out his turbo one day and slapped it back in for a car show lol , i honestly would not trust the kid myself, and it was his so he cannot play dumb and say he didnt know, thats like him saying he doesnt know what turbo is even in his car you know.

he should be responsible to pay for damages if not replace the turbo for your brother. he is a big sh*t talker IMO

We are giving him a chance to settle this in a professional manner, there are many things wrong with the kit that my bro let slide at first, but enough is enough. If we have to take a trip to visit this guy I have no problem with doing that, especially since standby tickets are $150 both ways. I don't think we have been this mad ever in our lives, i'm ____ed because I've spent so much time helping him install this and now he is out of a car till this gets fixed.

this a-hole is a whiner and he is telling us to prove it to him that something is wrong, like the videos here and the pics are not enough for someone with half a brain, that knows anything about a turbo. Then he is yelling at me for calling him a scammer on these forums, i think i have more than 1 reason to do so and if he fixes the situation all these posts can be reversed.

For you guys that know him if you could pm me any details you have about him, where he works, where he hangs out etc I would greatly appreciate it.

I heard that he didn't drive with the turbo on a regular basis. He just put the turbo in for car shows and it wasn't even tuned. he was always very shady.

sorry. I really hope you get your money back

ya he was never tuned, always ran rich, got kicked out of the NY auto show back in 08 bc of that. nothing worked in his tc ever, im shocked he is even selling anything, that manifold NEVER rusted which is a big indicator that he never used that turbo and like you said, slapped it on for car shows, i wouldnt doubt it
