he wanted the big wheels for looks but wanted to save as much of his performance/MPG as he could. i did made the same COMPROMISE. instead of spending money on lightweight 18s i just got some 17in wheels. i like them and there is hardly a diff. my MPG did drop about 1-2 and it is slightly slower.

ok boys and girls, this thread is cleaned up, but im out of toilet paper, so if it gets messy again, im gonna be a little annoyed.

Prototype XB has every right to call Mod City on the weight issue of the wheels. the issue here is they said under 21 pounds. It seems that Mod City has issued Prototype XB a refund, to me in my book shows a good business since. Bad mouthing someones business can get you in legal trouble especially if its in a forum. Lets let this thing rest because everyone seems happy.

in my eyes the motivation for the refund was this thread. the orignal poster stated the owner told him he would not get a refund. i think this thread caused the owner to man up and do what he should have done. after it was settled i got a PM from the owner saying that things had worked out. sounds like he is trying to get my respect back, but you can take that as you will. regardless. its over and donewith.
