Ok, I was at TheModCity.com and checking out their projector headlights and noticedthey have dual halo projectors some with LED's and some not, some with chrome housings and some in black.

What's the differences with having dual halo projectors and LED's? Sorry, I don't even know what the Halo looks like, I've never looked at different lights before so I'm a newbie to this.

Also if anyone has some pics of their cars with halo projectors with either the black or chrome housing can you post a pic for me please? I have a black xB with crome rims so I don't know if I should get a black housing to match the car or chrome to match the rims and my future billet grills and chrom handles.

 

A lot of people prefer the non led ones with the black housing.

The led's jsut make it pretty I guess. Halo is a ring around the headlight that lights up blueish white. Sets off the car.

They look good but have many cases in which they fog up due to sealing issues. I'm gonna stick with my stockies, maybe do the clear mod. Safer than potentially wasting 120+ bones.

 

DO NOT GET THE ONES WITH THREE LEDS

Every single one fogs up pretty badly.

I have the single projector variety with halos made by Sonar and I am very happy.

 

if you want some nasty projectors and you have alot of money to play with, go to www.hidretro.com, they have three different styles for the xB that are sick so you guys should check em out..

i am getting the modcity black housing in a couple days. i have a dark gray xb. i will post alot of pics when i get them installed.

 

that would be awesome to see what they look like. what are the differences between HID and projectors?
