Default weapon r intake manifold

Hi I bought the scion tc intake manifold from weapon r the other day and when I got it I first notice that it wasn't polished very good around the welds. Then when I put in on my engine and hooked up my throttle body I notice my injen cold air intake would not line up with the hole that holds the cold air intake down, it was like 2 inches off. I also couldn't hook up the cold air pipe that runs down in between the fender up. Then when I noticed there wasn't a spot for the vacuum hose that comes off the throttle body. Also you need sorter bolts when you go and bolt it to the head. This part is not a bolt on part and I had to take it off!

I hope they will take care of this for you, this may prevent others from getting it, or it may have been a bad manifold

hope it all gets taken care of.

sorry to hear that bro! I just bought one for my xA and so far i've had great customer service with weapon-r. Unfortunately, my intake had a dent in it due to it being damaged by ups. However, I didn't see any potential bolt-on issues with mine. in fact, the thing was a piece of art! excellent craftsmanship. cnc machining on the flanges was sweet. bummed that i have to wait another week for mine, but thats how the ball rolls. I called chris w. and he turned around within an hour with an RMA and sent out a replacement. this is the first time i've dealt with weapon-r and they seem very responsive to customer's needs unlike a few companies ive dealt with in the past namely: MOTORWEB/SPORT COMPACT ONLY!!!!!!!!!

I apoligize for posting two of the same topic, I was still learning how to site worked when I got on here and thought I should put the weapon r topic under buyer and seller experinces intead of the other one, but I didn't have time to delete the other one before it started getting feedback.

Well lets actually keep the discussion to the other one. I'd suggest create a thread here in Buyer/Seller once you actually get things resolved and addressed.
