so let me get this straight. He took a parallel position with another company? I thought this was a control issue?
its a really big step up. t/c.com has been around for almost 30 years, they have a space 5 times as large as zpi (20k sq ft i think), in house dyno, etc... much better position. He'll have also a lot more control over marketing at t/c.com than he did at zpi.

oh and there wont be shipping issues there. they have a real warehouse

Don't forget not only does basically the entire ZPI staff now works there, add in Turbochargers.com's staff. It almost seems it's an operation within an operation.

WOW!!! You had us on that one. I decided to dig through my old textbooks from college and no where did it say anything about "Normal Justice". Good One!!!

Definition:

Law - the principles and regulations established in a community by some authority and applicable to its people, whether in the form of legislation or of custom and policies recognized and enforced by judicial decision.

Normal Justice - some crack pot idea that there is actually a different version of The Law.

alright jackass. i should have said "moral justice." do you really think the law was made so that people could be screwed over like this? like i said, i don't wanna hear all you morons dance around the issues. the fact is that people are out of a lot of money and parts. the fact is that none of you know ALL of the TRUTH. so therefore, NONE of you can put the "LAW" into your defenses, as it may turn out that the "LAW" will end up compensating people once a JUDGE finds out the entire TRUTH. so go ahead and act like i had no idea what i was talking about when i posted that. of course i know that THE LAW would be upheld over "moral justice." that doesn't make it right in this case, now does it?

edit: and thanks ladyj for your insightful definitions, very helpful. you have 1 total post as an SL member... i wonder who came onto SL and made your profile just to post in this topic

Once nebster and some others get off Kenny's pickle, step back, and look at the situation in an unbiased manner, maybe they will realize that Kenny is not just an employee that decided to relocate for a change of scenery.

You can go after an LLC, Incorp (either type) and any of the managers, investors and who ever else you want to list on your lawsuit. If a company is about to take a turn for the worst and he jets, his responsibility does not just disappear.

jaxtcracer, great example lmao

The reason I have a total of 1 post is because this site is a huge waste of time. I found your "normal justice" hilarious and just had to pipe in. Stupidity cracks me up!

^ too bad you wasted your time here then. You can go down in history of the woman who wasted her first post and second post just to post on a site that she hates. Too bad this is the best site for someone with a scion.

Anyway - back to the topic

you're right nebster, but there's immaturity on every forum for any car - hell, anywhere on the internet, there's always gonna be a douchebag trying to act like he knows everything about everything, and someone is always going to have to correct him.

As for the best place for someone with a scion...I have to agree. This site has endless resources for a scion owner. I can't even count how much information I've actually used from this site. I don't post much, but I definitely use the information from tech articles, and from knowledgeable members. I can't deny it - this site has the goods for any serious scion owner.

I have to agree. Just the F/I section is filled with a-holes.

If that isn't the most contradictory statement if I heard one.

that's the most ridiculous example ever. it'd be more like this:

you paid $5,000 to specifically have pickles on your big mac and the employee forgot to put them on. so, you take your big mac to the front and ask him to kindly give you pickles. he says they're unloading pickles from the truck in the back. you really want your pickles and to eat your mac without pickles would be like driving your tc without a turbo, so you say you'll wait. 15 minutes later (an eternity while waiting for something as important as pickles) you go up and ask the guy again. he says they're still unloading the stuff and the pickles are at the back of the truck behind the buns, patties, and w/e else. so you go back and sit down. another 15 mins go by... you get up and go to the front AGAIN, but this time the employee is gone, and all of the guys who were unloading the truck are gone as well. later you find out he KNEW there were no pickles on that truck but charged you the money anyway. you just paid $5,000 to the guy for pickles you won't receive until a later, unspecified truck delivery date. on top of all of that, he splits without so much as a word to you. perhaps he leaves you a note on a napkin saying

"dear devoted customer whom i pretend to love so much: sorry about the pickles. i am moving to the burger king across the street... so... see ya later. p.s.- the other guy behind the counter might be able to get you pickles when the next shipment comes in.. be sure to ask him for a rain check "free pickles on next visit" coupon. thanks, kerry swickler"

i am aware that i spent way too much time on that, so don't even tell me i did. but thats more like how it's been for everyone here. so yes, if that mcdonalds example had been the case, i would hold the employee personally responsible for my loss. all you law freaks who are already thinking up a reason why my example is flawed, save it. i'm just speaking in terms of normal justice as an everyday person would see it, not letter of the law that only a lawyer or someone familiar with law would understand. thanks, that is all.
