I would have gone after the shipping company, waited for their official statement then taken that to paypal. As they said not after the result but the shipping...

 

Wow, that's about the laziest packing job i've seen in a long time... I'd go after him for that garbage.

 

you can't argue that the way the wheels were shipped and the way upstyles conducted himself were wrong,

but,
OP were you really planning to not paint them? reading through I saw a lot of hypothetical "what if i wanted to keep the pink/white", the what if implying that you had not planned to keep them that way. in which case, the wheels arent actually damaged and just need paint, so why bother arguing over how they SHOULD have arrived (regardless of the wrongs committed) if you were going to paint them anyway. maybe its just that i prefer things to be in as good a condition as possible, and so if the seller had stated they needed to be repainted i would have taken his word and gone through the purchase knowing full well well that i was going to repaint them.

but of course, if you had not planned to repaint anyway, then it definitely sucks and im sorry you had to go through all of this

 

This is what concerns me about buying from people on SL anymore...Back in the day there were no where near the number of problems there are today...
