Default what's important to you?

Hey all,

a friend and i have been planning on starting a small business, in the very near future. it will most likely focus around performance parts for cars. i know the market is flooded, but i also know how poorly most of us are treated when we try to purchase parts, online, or at a storefront.

so my question to you is.. when you go to a shop, what are the most important things you look for? price? availability? friendliness of staff? knowledge of staff?

pick 2.

also, if you are to purchase online, what do you look for?

easy to use website? lots of products on the site? easy ordering procedures? quick shipment of parts? price?

see, it's easy to set up a really nice looking website, professional as hell, but shipping the product seems to be where most online businesses drop off.

anyway, i'd like to see what you guys think.

also, i have some ideas for tuner-specific products that i would have manufactured locally. what is more important to you? quality or name brand?

thanks in advance for your comments

Staff should definitely be knowledgeable and nice to deal with. When shopping online for parts I mainly look for ompetitive pricing and fast shipping. You can get a pretty good idea of what people are looking for just by reading through the forums. Quality locally made parts have the potential to be very strong sellers.
